Communiqué: Pre-Bid Meeting - Replacement of Existing Data Network and PABX infrastructure

The Bank of Mauritius (Bank) is organising a pre-bid meeting to clarify the scope of work and terms of the above mentioned Request for Proposal, which was published on the Bank’s website on 06 March 2015. The pre-bid meeting will comprise a 1-hour question and answer session as well as a 1-hour visit to the existing site infrastructure. The objective of the site visit is to undertake any estimation of the required number of wireless access points. Queries already received via email at the Bank will also be discussed during the 1-hour question and answer session.  
 
Bidders will not be allowed to take pictures during the site visit. 
 
The pre-bid meeting will be held in the Meeting Room of Level 8 at the Bank of Mauritius Tower, Sir William Newton Street, Port Louis on Tuesday 24 March 2015 at 10hrs00 am Mauritian Time. 
 
 
Bidders, who wish to participate in the pre-bid meeting, are required to submit the names and the National Identification Number [for Mauritian citizens] or Passport Number [for non-residents] of their representatives by email at the following address: CTC@bom.mu, by latest 15hrs00 Mauritian Time on Monday 23 March 2015. A maximum of 2 representatives from each Bidder will be allowed to participate in the pre-bid meeting. 
 
Registration of participants to the meeting will start as from 09hrs45 am Mauritius Time on Tuesday 24 March 2015. 
 
No Bidder representatives will be authorised to participate in the meeting if their names have not been communicated to the Bank. 
 
Non-attendance to the Pre-bid meeting will not be a cause for disqualification of a Bidder. 
 
No further requests for clarification will be entertained after the pre-bid meeting.
 
 
Minutes of proceedings of the pre-bid meeting will be published on the website of the bank.
