The Bank of Mauritius (Bank) refers to an article “Whitedot gagne la BoM … Parmi les victimes de Whitedot figure un membre du Top 5 de la Banque de Maurice” under the heading “Confidentiel”, which appeared on Page 11 of Le Defi Plus today, 04 May 2013.
The Bank wishes to point out that it has no Top 5 hierarchy. The top management structure at the Bank comprises the Governor and the two Deputy Governors and none of them has any deposits/investments in Whitedot Ltd or in any other Ponzi schemes.
The Bank wishes to reassure that its investigation in the matter is on-going.
