Bank of Mauritius Governor Rameswurlall Basant Roi, G.C.S.K., invited to be a member of the Bretton Woods Committee.

The Governor of the Bank of Mauritius, Mr Rameswurlall Basant Roi, G.C.S.K., has been invited by the Chair, International Council, and co-Chairs, one of whom is the former President of the World Bank, Mr James Wolfensohn, to be a member of the Bretton Woods Committee.

Mr Rameswurlall Basant Roi, G.C.S.K., has gladly accepted to be member of the Committee. Asked about what the membership means to him, he said, “I view this invitation as a recognition of the Bank of Mauritius standing in the international financial system.
