In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the public is hereby informed that the Bank will not be exchanging mutilated, burnt or torn banknotes or other demonetized currency notes at its counters as from 20 March 2020 to avoid contagion of the disease.
Similarly, The Bank of Mauritius Museum will be closed until further notice.
