The Bank of Mauritius has deemed it necessary to provide guidance in relation to the appointment or reappointment of senior officers in the wake of deficiencies in practices of financial institutions identified in the course of regular on-site examinations as well as through routine supervision. The guidelines set also clarify the expectations of the Bank in relation to the appointment of senior officers.
