The Prevention of Terrorism (International Obligations) Act enables Mauritius to adhere to various international counter-terrorism conventions namely the Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material, Convention on the Marking of Plastic Explosives for the Purpose of Detection and International Convention for the Suppression of Acts of Nuclear Terrorism.
